We’re delighted to announce that Mark Sebba, Chair of the Hyde Group will be our keynote speaker at this year’s TPAS Conference.
From 2003 to 2014 Mark was Chief Executive of The Net-A-Porter Group, which has operations in Europe, the US and Asia, and comprises Net-a-Porter.com, the world’s leading fashion website and publisher of Porter Magazine; mrporter.com, the style destination for men and theoutnet.com, a discount fashion website.
He remains on the Net-A-Porter Group Board as a non-executive member. Mark is also a Trustee of the Victoria & Albert Museum (V&A) and has been Chair of the V&A Enterprises Board since 2013.
As a successful businessman, now with a key role in social housing, Mark has been invited to talk about why he believes involving residents is the smart and right thing to do for any landlord.
“Engaging with customers to improve products and services is the cornerstone of any business model and housing is no different. If anything, a home is such a basic human right, the need for that two way relationship is even greater.
Since joining Hyde I have seen firsthand the added value that our diverse groups of involved residents bring to the business, through their role in performance scrutiny and influencing services ; but we cannot be complacent.
If we are to grow and thrive as a business, we need to embrace new ways of communicating and ensure our customers’ feedback remains at the heart of all that we do”.
